"Shala" Health and Lifestyle Assessment is an on-line health tool. It is designed to give customers an idea how their current lifestyles may be affecting their health. Its questions cover individual medical record, family history, biometrics, lifestyles, readiness for behavior changes and so on. After completing a nine-page survey, customers can view personalized output reports, which include their personalized risks of chronic diseases and the suggestions about how to improve.
SPRC began to work at "Shala" since 1970s. What we offer here is the newest version, the pith and marrow of SPRC's experiences for over 30 years. A six-year research program conducted by Dr R. J. Ozminkowski shows that those who received such kind of assessment could save up to 11% on their annually medical expenditures, compared with those who did not; and those who took related healthcare classes after the assessment could save even more, best results showing a saving to about 50%.
