Chronic diseases include cardiovascular diseases, cancer, obesity, senile dementia, osteoporosis, diabetes and so on. Their pathogenesis and deterioration are closely related to people's lifestyle. In 2006, WHO and Chinese Department of Health claim together that the percentage of people who died of chronic diseases among all the dead increased from 73.8% in 1991 to 80.9% in 2000.
SPRC believes that it is crucial for patients with chronic diseases to manage their daily lives properly in order to relieve symptoms, recover and improve their life quality. This is first because that unhealthy lifestyle is the leading cause for chronic diseases, as WHO points out. Secondly, since chronic diseases usually last for a long time, even for the whole life, during recovering, patients had better spend most time at home rather in hospital. Taking into consideration the above two points, we help our customers build up positive attitudes, learn some operative skills to deal with frequent symptoms, and try to take some activities as healthy people. All the activities can benefit their clinical treatments and prompt their lift quality.
